Around the Hood: Our Chicago Tree Project by Kara James

Trees1

Our Norwood Ave neighbor, Kim, tipped us off to these awesome sculptures just south of the neighborhood this week. After doing some sleuthing this morning… it looks like these great pieces were done by Kara James as part of The Chicago Tree Project. She is also working on another tree not too far from these if you want to checkout one in progress. What a cool use of our dead or dying trees.

It sure looks like a great day for a ride down there if you haven’t mothballed your bike yet!
