One-night-only performance of Everything that Rises Must Converge

Our neighbor Victoria wanted to extend an invite to the neighborhood for this one-night-only performance if you are free tomorrow evening.

“Join us for this one-night-only performance of Everything that Rises Must Converge, originally written by Flannery O’Connor and taken to the stage by Karin Coonrod. In this production, the themes of resentment, prejudice and diversity are lived out in the interactions between racially varied passengers on a Georgia bus. Complete with original dialogue, dance, and direct quotes from the collection, the power of the author’s sociopolitical message is magnified through performance and succeeds at enveloping the audience. This tragic-comedy has toured in several locations, but is only coming to Loyola for one night. Don’t miss it!” – Victoria
