Edgewater’s (Fixed) Potholes Mapped

We’ve been messing around with data from the City’s Data Portal this morning. If you are curious about our neighborhood potholes that have been filled in the last 7 days they have been plotted on The Edgewater Map. You can select each traffic cone to see more detailed information about each pothole (exciting stuff!).

We currently also have layers for our neighborhood Victory Gardens, Green Roofs, Neighbor Owned Businesses and Block Clubs turned on. Selecting each placemarker displays more details about it. For more info on how to see other layers (like bike racks, red light cameras, daily traffic volumes) or to submit your local business to the map head on over to the main Edgewater Map Page.

The City’s Data Portal hosts nearly 1,300 data sets open to the public. If you see anything cool in there to add to the map let us know and we will add a layer for it.
