Half Acre Brewery Expansion Plans Revealed

It looks like there will be a number of new outdoor spaces in the neighborhood to hang out at this summer. Half Acre Brewery in Bowmanville (located at Rascher and Hoyne) is expanding.

If you missed the notice from Alderman O’Connor today and want to take the survey to share your thoughts on the project, see below…

“Half Acre plans for both indoor and outdoor space and family friendly environment. They have provided the included renderings of the space.

Vehicular traffic for the tasting room will enter into the parking lot from Rascher. We are looking at the possibility of directing all exiting traffic back out to Damen via a right turn only onto Rascher. This will hopefully further reduce what should be minimal additional traffic on the neighboring residential streets.

The ongoing renovation of the Half Acre offices and brewing facility will include new fencing along Rascher with minimal signage and beautification of the parkway along Hoyne. Due to the long winter this year, the plantings have not yet been completed.”

  1. Hello I am so thrilled I found your website, I really found
you by accident, while I was searching on Aol for
something else, Regardless I am here now and would
just like to say cheers for a tremendous post and a all round enjoyable blog (I also love the theme/design),
I don’t have time to read it all at the moment
but I have book-marked it and also added your RSS feeds, so
when I have time I will be back to read much more, Please do keep
    up the great work.

  2. Hello there! I could have sworn I’ve visited this
web site before but after going through a few
of the posts I realized it’s new to me. Anyways, I’m
definitely pleased I found it and I’ll be bookmarking it and checking
    back regularly!

  3. certainly like your web-site but you need to check the spelling
on several of your posts. Several of them
are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to inform
the truth on the other hand I’ll definitely come back again.

    1. Thanks Buzz! We will try to be more careful. That said, if spelling/grammar issues really get under your skin this probably isn’t the neighbor run blog for you. While we hope you keep coming back, DNA Info & EdgevilleBuzz (with actual writers) might be great alternatives for you. Thanks again!
