Screen Shot 2015-06-05 at 10.07.26 AMWe’ve been hearing some pretty interesting news about the Glenwood Avenue Bikeway Project lately. Traveling between Edgewater Glen & Andersonville on your bike might be getting a whole lot easier. If you want to get a better sense of the plans for Glenwood, Harry just announced a public meeting for this Wednesday, June 10th. See you there!

“I will be hosting a meeting at 6:30 pm Wednesday June 10 to discuss and show plans for the “bikeway” project coming to Glenwood Avenue from Ridge to Foster Avenues.

CDOT representatives will be on hand to answer questions at the meeting, to be held at Edgewater Baptist Church, 1402 W. Hollywood Ave. I hope you can join us. If not, please call the 48th Ward Service office at 773-784-5277 with any questions.” – Alderman Harry Osterman

  1. Why is a bike lane needed? I ride on Clark but the way the bike lane there is designed put me more at risk.
I wish they would fix Clark before spending money on other stuff.
