Neighborhood Archives: The First Edgewater Glen Pumpkin Carving Contest

IMG_20121031_174946_816

Very cool. We stumbled upon what seems to be the first evidence of a neighborhood-wide Halloween event in the neighborhood from 30 years ago (scroll down to page 3). Is your block organizing anything special for the kids this year? We would love to hear about it.

Also — Just a heads up, we are hoping to get accurate trick-or-treater counts from all over the neighborhood this year. If you would like to help with our Edgewater Glen-wide kid counting effort, dig out your counters! We will post a form where you can sumit the “exact” numbers for your specific block next week. Stay tuned.
